Leadership diversity.
It’s easy to publish a purpose statement. For it to influence our firm’s direction, we know we need purposeful leadership and effective governance.
Cripps is a limited liability partnership jointly owned by 36 equity partners (as at 31 December 2024). Our Board comprises seven equity partners including our senior partner (SP) as the chairperson, managing partner (MP), four business services directors and two non-executive directors (NEDs). Both our MP and SP are men. Our previous SP was female.
We are striving for gender parity across our Board and leadership.

Purpose and governance.
Our purpose committee is a sub-committee of the Board and is attended by our senior partner and pillar leads. We appointed a full-time purpose and impact senior manager in 2023 responsible for best practice and for holding us to our B Corp commitments.

We are always looking to learn from our stakeholders. Examples include listening to our clients, our people and our partners in business and the community. Bringing this all together allows us to create relevant KPIs to reduce negative impacts and focus on making a positive difference.
We can achieve more.
- Recognise the social and environmental risks and opportunities material to our business and bring these together in one comprehensive assessment.
- Ensure all our people receive a foundational level of training on the social and environmental issues material to our firm.
- Recognise sustainability education and engagement more formally through performance reviews.
