2025 Impact Report

Planet

Taking joined-up action to protect our environment.

Most of our environmental impact sits beyond our own four walls. That’s why we’re focusing on joined‑up action with our people, suppliers and clients to push for progress and make a measurable difference.

What we've achieved in 2025:

Last year we shared the following impact goals to:

  • Publish our full carbon reduction plan and net zero targets on the website in 2025.
  • Introduce a 'Cripps commute' scheme across all locations by 2026 including car sharing, cycle to work, and the introduction of an EV salary sacrifice.
  • Improve our Ecovadis score by updating our procurement policy and creating a supplier charter.
  • Create a plan and budget for SBTi verification in 2027 to support our road to net zero.

Our progress on these goals:

  • Published our carbon report on our website to be updated annually.
  • Improved the accuracy of our reporting from spend-based data to direct emissions.
  • Piloted a car sharing initiative with 14 active users. Saw a 2% reduction in our commuting emissions.
  • Prepared for the launch of an EV salary-sacrifice scheme in the 2026/27 financial year.
  • Began updating our procurement policy and created a draft supplier charter. We did not renew EcoVadis in 2025 but may do in future to align with our clients or suppliers.
  • Registered on the SBTi validation portal and created a plan and budget to re-baseline our emissions and verify our targets in 2027.

Progress on our net zero targets

Our near-term reductions are to:

  • Reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to a 2022 baseline
  • Reduce Scope 3 emissions by 30% by 2027.

Our long-term target is to achieve net zero by 2050. SBTi verification will help us bring this target forward. We will only use offsetting for the last 10% of residual emissions.

In 2025, we reduced our overall emissions by 9.8% against our 2022 baseline.

  • Scope 2 emissions rose by 16%. This was due to a full reporting year of the new Horsham office and poor performance of the air conditioning units in two of our offices.
  • Scope 3 emissions fell by 12% taking us towards our 2027 target. This is a result of more accurate reporting as we shift from spend based estimates to direct measurement. We remain committed to reducing our impact by travelling more responsibly and making better choices about the goods and services we buy.

Sustainable City Charter

As a partner to our clients in London’s evolving urban landscape, we signed the Sustainable City Charter in 2025, a voluntary pledge that unites businesses in advancing sustainable working practices throughout Westminster supported by Westminster City Council and the Westminster Property Association.

Climate and Nature Fair

We supported the first Climate and Nature Fair in Tunbridge Wells; a community event set up by local volunteers to inspire people and businesses to make a change and help the town be a leader in addressing the climate and nature emergency in Kent.

Amplifi.tw

Amplifi, co-founded by Cripps partner Pete Keynon, launched its 2025 plan with a screening of Responsible by Tristan Lochon, a documentary that challenges the notion of business-as-usual. Five education events drew 400 attendees exploring digital sustainability, the circular economy, green pensions, sustainable supply chains and better transport. Amplifi.tw funded 25 more people through carbon-literacy training, while its 15-member Professional Services group met quarterly to support drive momentum in their respective sustainability journeys.

Our ambitions for 2026:

  • Launch refreshed procurement policy and supplier charter by May 2027 to reduce Scope 3 emissions and deliver long-term cost benefits.
  • Bring our 2050 target forward subject to a full review and SBTi verification by October 2027.
  • Pilot an employee engagement platform in 2026 that rewards climate-conscious behaviour and delivers measurable results on operational cost savings.
